　　Nowadays, taking a gap year is becoming a trend popular among school graduates. During the gap year, students can travel or take a part-time job instead of going into a university immediately. However, there is much debate on whether a gap year is a really good idea. From my perspective, I am a big fan of gap year, which is a perfect way to prepare for university life. My view point is based on the following reasons and examples.

　　Firstly, taking a gap year can help students wipe out the fatigue derived from continuous study and well prepare them for college life. After immersing themselves in the sea of knowledge for so long, high school graduates are almost sick and tired of studying. They just do not want to step in the next stage immediately, and thus there is a call for break. For example, during gap year, they can participate in journeys, community service and part-time jobs.
