在外刊阅读的过程中，我们可以邂逅很多漂亮得体的表达，今天沈阳环球教育江立越老师就跟大家分享下见过的很好的形容词的一个重要部分——复合形容词。其实具体说来，复合形容词就是指两个以上的词用连字号形成的形容词，通常置于名词前，修饰名词。

　　而第一种的形容词的构成是数词＋名词。我们在阅读中遇到的句子有：

　　多常见为表示多少年的计划

　　A national three-year “plan of action”， adopted in March for major transport-infrastructure projects， mentions the most difficult stretch： a 1，000km link between Kangding in Sichuan and the Tibetan prefecture of Linzhi (Nyingchi in Tibetan)

　　IN 1953， taking cues from their Soviet advisers， Chinese leaders launched their first five-year plan.

　　多少床位的酒店/几洞的高尔夫

　　The faith's most famous commercial site， Shaolin Temple in Henan， which is renowned for its kung fu-trained monks， plans to build a $297m， 500-bed hotel complex and temple-including a martial-arts academy and a 27-hole golf course-in Australia.

　　一个孩子的/独子的

　　The government has already started to relax its one-child policy；

　　数词＋名词（quarter(s)）表示分数

　　In choosing a husband，three-quarters of women consider his ability to provide a home，according to a recent survey of young people in China's coastal cities by Horizon China，a Beijing-based market-research firm.

　　数词＋数量单位，表示面积／体积

　　An eight-square-metre (86-square-foot) flat costs less than $100 a month.

　　The price of a 100-square-metre house is on average 14-fold higher than annual household incomes in mega-cities.

　　二三线城市

　　In second- and third-tier cities (such as provincial capitals)，he says，sales are down by 40-50%.

　　那么说完第一类，第二种我们常见的组合就是数词＋名词＋形容词，常见的有：

　　一、表示某个年龄段/多大数岁

　　A wiry 60-year-old with pepper-and-salt hair， a wispy beard and an air of resignation，he muses：“I've been here 20 years， and it's never been so tough.”

　　Lu Zhongbao，a 24-year-old forestry student， says he was told as a child that he“emerged from a rock”.

　　“Happy Middle School Students”，written for 12- to 15-year-olds in 2006 and still widely used，refers to sperm meeting egg without describing the mechanics of intercourse.

　　Another member of the fuerdai，a 26-year-old Beijing native whose father is a self-made investment banker， says some of his friends are from politically well-connected families and probably owe some of their wealth to corrupt dealings.

　　A fifth of all single-person households in China are made up of over-65-year-olds.

　　二、形容建筑物的长宽高

　　The company that built Hong Kong's 34-metre-tall Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau Island and Sanya's Guanyin has been working on erecting ten more mega-Buddhas around the country.

　　三、形容历时多久

　　By the time China's two-month-long winter transfer-period ends on February 26th， its top-division clubs will have spent a net amount of around $300m (the amount spent on buying players minus the amount received for selling them).
