在雅思写作中，很多烤鸭都会有想表达较中立立场的时候，却由于不了解相关表达而无法落笔。下面就请大家跟随沈阳环球教育栗源锶老师来学习下这两个表达，用地道的方式表达你的中立立场。

　　1. A and B are not mutually exclusive： A和B并不互相排斥

　　取代类话题是近年来常考的话题：随着科技发展，某种新生事物被普及，问新的事物是否会取代老的事物。题目如下：

　　题目一：Some people believe that printed books are no longer needed in a digital era, as books can be stored electronically. Others think that printed books will still play an important role in our lives. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

　　一些人认为在数字时代，纸质书已经不再被需要了，因为书可以以电子的形式储存。另一些人认为纸质书仍然将扮演着重要的角色，双边讨论。

　　题目浅析：电子书便携portable，纸质书方便记笔记划重点take notes and highlight important contents，有助于深入阅读deeper reading。有些纸质书是文化遗产cultural heritage 可以代代相传。所以两者各有优势，他们的存在并不是互相排斥的。

　　观点：E-books and printed books are not mutually exclusive

　　题目二：Maintaining public libraries is a waste of money since computer technology is now replacing their functions. To what extent do you agree or disagree？维护公共图书馆浪费钱，因为电脑科技能够代替公共图书馆的功能。同意与否？

　　题目浅析：考官是这样写的：孩子的教育是从家庭开始的，家长是孩子的第一任老师：Educating children to understand the need to obey rules and respect others always begins in the home. Parents will certainly be the first to help children learn…。

　　一旦孩子长大就进入了更广泛的社区，老师和同龄人的影响和家长一样大。

　　Once a child goes to school, they are entering a wider community where teachers and peers will have just as much influence as their parents do at home.

　　中立观点：Parenting and schooling complement one another家庭教育与学校教育互补。

　　Some teachers think it is effective for students to study in group while others think it is better to study alone. Discuss both views and give your opinion. 小组学习和自己学习那个更有效

　　题目浅析：小组学习中组员可以分享信息share information, 共同努力collaborative efforts使解决问题更高效。 自己学习使学生按照自己的节奏学习move at their own pace. 两者各有优势。学生即应该有小组学习的时间也应该有自己学习的时间。

　　中立观点：Group learning and study alone complement one another. 小组学习和自组学习互补。
