In the mid autumn festival, we’d like to appreciate mooncake with families, which is a kind of round pie made of flour and filled with some nuts. Due to its round shape, we think that kind of food can bring good fortune for us on that festival.
Moreover, On spring festival, we may love to eat dumplings to pray for happiness, cheerfulness and longevity for the next year.

People in north of China love to eat food made of wheat like noodles and steamed bread because of the poor precipitation. I mean, it is very hard to plant rice in the north of China.
In the southwest of China, people love spicy food such as hotpot or spicy pot because the weather there is so wet. They have to eat chili to keep warm.
